Ph.D. in Logistics
The Logistics Ph.D. program does not have openings for new Ph.D. students to begin in the next academic year. After carefully considering our program's capacity and resources, we have decided not to admit new Ph.D. students for the upcoming academic year. This decision was made to ensure that we can continue to provide the highest quality of education and support to our current students. For future opportunities, interested students are encouraged to connect with Dr. Xiang (Sean) Wan (wan.207@osu.edu).
The high quality of the internationally recognized logistics faculty and research programs within Fisher College of Business establishes an ideal environment for training Ph.D. students to develop new knowledge and disseminate it to the academic community and into business practice.
The Logistics Ph.D. program’s objectives are:
To develop a comprehensive understanding of the basic elements of Business Logistics and the ability to integrate these elements into a systems perspective.
To develop the ability to design and conduct research of significant scope and content so that it constitutes a contribution to the discipline.
To maintain a tradition of scholarship and a professional commitment to excellence in teaching and research.
