To provide opportunities for students to continue developing themselves personally and professionally during a time when in-person experiences are hard to come by, the Office of Career Management has compiled a list of online resources for students to explore on their own! The list connects students with materials to build their knowledge in various skill sets with accredited online entities, including Tableau, Udemy, Adobe Creative Cloud, and others. It is the Office of Career Management’s hope that amidst these uncertain times, this resource list can be a useful tool for Fisher students.

Personalized Career Support
You will have the opportunity to take advantage of highly personalized career consultation and programming specifically designed for graduate business students. A few select career management offerings are outlined below:
- Career Core – career management on-boarding program which begins with a series of online modules and assignments before your program begins, and in-person discussions and presentations during pre-term/orientation
- Career Foundation Seminars – a series of dynamic and interactive seminars and conferences based upon your career focus sponsored by the Office of Career Management and presented by Fisher faculty, staff, industry/business professionals and Fisher alumnae
- Career Success Series Workshops – specific career-focused workshops designed to help you become the best-prepared job seeker
- Career Consultation – consultants are discipline-specific who engage students enrolled in the MAcc, MBA, SMBA, MSCM, MHRM, SMF, WPMBA programs through individual appointments. Consultants support and partner with you to clarify career goals, create marketing plans, refine your resume/cover letter, and build your skills in interviewing, networking and negotiating
- Events – students can participate in on-campus recruiting, job fairs, networking events, company information sessions and group trips

As a transitioning Army Officer, I was unfamiliar with the requirements and expectations that companies desire from job applicants. The Career Management Team at the Ohio State Fisher College of Business, along with their Career Core Program, raised my awareness of not only resume writing and interviewing skills but also broadened my perspective of the entire process surrounding a successful career search.
The Career Core Program was a great start to my journey at Fisher! The use of innovative tools such as Vmock along with the personalized assistance on the resume, cover letter and interview preparation certainly prepared me very early for my internship search!
