Background

In her current role, Mathews-Mead oversees career coaching, programming and job search strategy development for MBA and Specialized Masters students at Fisher. She joined the college more than 20 years ago and has worked in career consulting and programming roles with both undergraduate and graduate students. In her current work with the full-time MBA students, she focuses on working with both first- and second- year MBAs who are pursuing supply chain management and operational excellence careers as well as those corporate partners who are interested in hiring these candidates for projects, internships as well as full-time career positions. Outside Fisher, she has served in leadership roles on the President and Provost's Council on Women; Association of Staff and Faculty Women; and the Critical Difference for Women Grant Committee. Just last year, she was named one of five “Glass Breakers” at Ohio State, an honor for faculty and staff that have made strides in improving workplace culture for women at the university. Mathews-Mead has a an undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and a master’s in higher education administration/college student personnel from The Ohio State University.
