Annual Fisher Invitational Case Competition
The Fisher Invitational Case Competition provides Full-Time MBA students with an opportunity to put experiential learning into practice. Established at Fisher College of Business in 1992, the annual event attracts teams of first-year MBA students from around the country to Ohio State and Columbus.
With the engagement of a sponsor company, teams spend three days competing against each other to offer innovative solutions to a multidisciplinary challenge presented by the sponsor.
Participants in the Fisher Invitational Case Competition
- Utilize business knowledge acquired through their classroom and co-curricular experiences at their respective institutions
- Hone their presentation skills in front of an audience of company executives, their peers and business leaders
- Further develop their abilities to think and act cross-functionally
- Network and interact with fellow MBA students from around the country
2024 Fisher Invitational Case Competition
The Fisher Case Invitational is thrilled to announce a partnership with Bath and Body Works, who will be providing the case for this prestigious competition. In addition, we're excited to reveal that there will be a substantial cash prize awarded to the event's winner. The specific cash prize amount will be determined and disclosed as we draw closer to the event date.

Day 1: Wednesday, February 7 (Location: The Blackwell)
- Arrival, registration and check-in at The Blackwell
- 6:00 PM Meet and Greet - Welcome & Announcements
Day 2 Thursday, February 8 (Location: Fisher College of Business)
- 7:30 AM Breakfast
- 8:00 AM Case presentation
- 8:30 AM Q&A
- 9:00 AM Case distributed; Teams will be given time to work on case
- 12:00 PM Lunch served
Day 3 Friday, February 9 (Location: Bath & Body Works)
- 7:30 AM Bus to Bath & Body Works from The Blackwell
- 8:30 AM Registration at Front Lobby followed by Breakfast at 4th Floor Atrium
- 9:00 AM Disperse for Round 1 presentations
- 11:15 AM First round winners announced
- 11:20 AM Lunch
- 12:00 PM Final Presentations
- 2:00 PM Winning team, best presenter, and best Q&A announced.
- 3:00 PM Thank you and buses depart back to The Blackwell for checkout and departure
