A thrilling leadership adventure.

The Seneca Leaders Expedition is a unique and exciting experiential learning opportunity – a captivating adventure that will challenge your abilities as both a leader and a follower. This immersive and challenging expedition will allow you to apply your leadership knowledge to exhilarating recreational activities in one of the most beautiful settings in the United States:

  • The New River Gorge – One of the premier climbing venues in the United States; World renowned white water rafting.
  • Seneca Rocks – The highest and most prominent peak in the Eastern half of the United States and one of the most iconic climbs in the country.

After the completion of a BUSMHR 3500 in Spring 2024, you will travel to Fayetteville, West Virginia during fall break of AU'24 semester, where you will partake in a variety of experiences - highlighted by a climb to the peak of Seneca Rocks.

Activities

Leaders who participate program will have the opportunity to participate in various outdoor recreational activities, including:

  • World Class Whitewater Rafting
  • Rock Climbing
  • Mountain Biking
  • Hiking

The Seneca Leaders Expedition will take place from October 10 – 13, 2024 (Fall Break) and is supported by the Rosenfield Family Foundation. The program is eligible for credit towards the Dean's Leadership Academy's Certificate in Leadership. No previous outdoor recreational experience is required to participate.

  • Enrollment in BUSMHR 3500: High Stakes Leadership in SP'24 semester
  • Program fee: $350
  • Enrollment in BUSMHR 3501.02 in AU'24 semester
