As the architect of Safelite’s customer driven strategy, Renee Cacchillo will share successes and challenges related to aligning customer experiences, marketing efforts and technical enhancements to create a culture of innovation. She will employ a case study approach to encourage interaction and discussion of leading practices in improving customer and business insights to make services and experiences easier for the customer.

Interactive Workshop - Identifying Insights to Drive Innovation
The lifeblood of innovation is insight, particularly deep human insights. Equally important is selection of the insights that can be of most strategic importance, and internalization of the underlying “tensions to be solved” or opportunities they present. Only then can insights drive strategy and day to day work, and break the “busy achieving nothing” curse that can plague hard working but strategically paralyzed organizations. In this interactive, hands-on session, Tracy will share practical approaches gleaned from dozens of global and US projects across multiple categories and businesses to help organizations avoid this fate and amplify the business impact of every employee’s efforts.

Student teams will share their findings from participating in OnRamp, an innovation accelerator designed to help companies’ vet early stage ideas. Learn more about this exciting experiential learning program that connects you with Ohio State’s student talent pipeline, creates an outlet for corporate ideation and exposes your associates to the lean-startup process and customer-driven solutions.
