The Student Life Multicultural Center’s LGBTQ Initiatives support and advocate for the unique academic and social needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer or questioning students and communities across Ohio State.

This collection of LGBTQ+ focused practices and university resources welcomes and supports LGBTQ+ employees and offers guidance for LGBTQ+ allies.
Student Organizations
- Out in Business
Out in Business is an organization created to unify and advocate for all Fisher College of Business students who identify as: gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, and questioning. We also seek and welcome the participation of allies who may or may not identify as belonging to any of the above groups, but who believe in the organization's intent.
- Pride
An organization dedicated to creating a national and local community where gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer students can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the Ohio State community.
- SHADES
The Ohio State chapter of SHADES is dedicated to fostering connections among Same-Gender Loving (SGL), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ), and supportive ally students across lines of race/ethnicity, gender, class, faith and ability at The Ohio State University and in the Columbus community.

Students for Diversity in Education through Service is committed to providing service and networking opportunities for LGBTQ students and their allies at Ohio State and the surrounding Columbus area.

Trans*Mission is a group for transgender and gender non-conforming students and allies. The organization's aim is to provide individuals of all gender identities and expressions a safe, social space to talk about their identities and experiences.
