  • The Ohio State University Office of Diversity and Inclusion
    The Office of Diversity and Inclusion's Latinx Student Success (LSS) team cultivates Latinx communities for academic, social and professional support. The LSS team promotes full inclusion of Latinx students and seeks to raise the visibility of Latinx groups on campus.
     
  • The Ohio State University Office of Diversity and Inclusion
    The Ohio State University Office of Diversity and Inclusion's Latinx Space for Enrichment and Research (LASER) focuses on scholarship and mentoring of Latinx students. It provides a forum for Ohio State faculty, staff and students to build a scholarly community on campus and to prepare, recruit and retain Latinx scholars from high school to college and on to graduate school.
     
  • The Ohio State University Office of Student Life Multicultural Center
    The Multicultural Center’s Latinx Initiatives offers a home away from home for Latino students across Ohio State. It focuses on the  issues impacting the Latino community at Ohio State. Heritage and awareness programming offer a place for everyone to explore the diversity among Latinos, traditions, cultural heritage and identity

 

Student Organizations

  • Prospanica
    Prospanica has advocated for Hispanic business professionals for 30 years. Since our founding as the National Society of Hispanic MBAs in 1988, it has hosted annual career and professional development conferences, connecting thousands of Hispanics to graduate programs, subject matter experts, corporations and each other.
     
  • Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA)
    The ALPFA Student Chapter at Ohio State empowers and develops Latino men and women as leaders of character for the nation in every sector of the global economy. It promotes the educational and professional careers of its members with an emphasis on the Hispanic minority population at Ohio State.
     
  • Fisher Graduate Latino Association
    The Fisher Latino Graduate Association enhances the profile and opportunities for Latino students at Fisher by encouraging personal and professional development, and by providing support and assistance to its members in their academic development.
     
  • Girls of Outreach & Diversity
    Girls of Outreach & Diversity advocates for the empowerment of Latina women and further their growth personally, academically and professionally. It promotes cultural diversity among women of color and creates a sisterhood that upholds the values of service, leadership, empowerment, activism and cultural engagement.
     
  • Graduate Association of Latinx/Latin American Students
    The Graduate Association of Latinx/Latin American Students (GALA), formerly recognized as the Latino/a Graduate and Professional Student Association is the oldest Hispanic organization on campus. It was created for  Latino/a and Latin American graduate and professional students as a means of promoting personal and professional development, and providing support and assistance in the goal of academic success at Ohio State.
     
  • Latinx Student Association
    The Latinx Student Association is dedicated to celebrating the Latinx culture as well as fostering and bringing awareness about the Latino community. LSA strengthens the Latinx student body at Ohio State and is open to anybody interested in Latinx culture, whether they identify as Latinx or not.
     
  • University-wide Council of Latinx Organizations
    UCLO fosters communications among various social, professional and educational Latino/ Hispanic organizations, advocates for the continuing developmental, social and cultural programming for Latino/ Hispanic students, faculty and staff at  Ohio State, and sponsors collaborative events with the aim of further uniting the community.
