- Typically applications open in January/February each year and are hiring for the upcoming academic school year (Summer/Autumn to Spring semester). Application dates for these positions vary, please see descriptions below.
Opportunities
First-year business students have the following employment opportunities within the Fisher College of Business:
FISHER STUDENT AMBASSADOR
Fisher students who serve as the face of Fisher and meet with prospective students and families during campus visits. Student Ambassadors answer questions, offer insight into the Fisher Experience and provide tours of the Fisher Campus.
Coordinated through the Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment Office. Applications are closed for Autumn 2024.
STUDENT AUDITOR
Student Auditors will support graduation services. They will process applications for the BSBA degree and assist with commencement. Duties include analyzing student academic record via university database, auditing student academic records, tabulating gradation statistics, computing grade point averages, checking course prerequisites, verifying projected course offerings; administrative responsibilities include answering student inquiries, notifying students of audit results, assisting fellow auditors and performing clerical duties.
Coordinated through Fisher's Graduation Services. Applications are closed.
STUDENT SERVICES ASSISTANT
Fisher students who often serve as the first point of contact to the college and provide administrative support in the daily functions of the Undergraduate Programs and Advising Office, as well as supporting other college academic and administrative units.
Coordinated through the Undergraduate Programs and Advising Office. Applications are due March 8th, 2024.
Second-year business students have the following employment opportunities within the Fisher College of Business:

FISHER PEER CAREER COACHES & PEER CAREER CONSULTANTS
Career Coaches are undergraduate business students who assist other students with developing resumes and cover letters, identifying useful career resources and utilizing Handshake.
Career Consultants review job search materials, plan customized internship and/or job search strategies, conduct QUIC Interviews and interview preparation conversations, discuss job offers for evaluation and negotiation assistance and present to business courses and student organizations on career-related topics.
Coordinated through the Office of Career Management. Applications are closed.
FISHER PEER ADVISOR
Upper-class Fisher students who help first-semester business students become acclimated to the Fisher campus, assist academic advisors during BA 1100 Business Survey Course, and hold weekly office hours.
Coordinated through the Undergraduate Programs and Advising Office. Applications are closed for Autumn 2024.
FISHER PEER IMPACT CONSULTANT
Upper-class business students who meet with other Fisher students for 1-on-1 involvement appointments to discuss and create an engagement plan that helps students get the most out of their Fisher experience.
Coordinated through the Undergraduate Leadership & Engagement Office. Applications will close March 14, 2024.
