Welcome, future Business Buckeye!
Congratulations on your acceptance into The Ohio State University! Thank you for your interest in becoming a Business Buckeye at Fisher College of Business!
Incoming freshmen that have been admitted to the Columbus campus and indicated business as their intended major are direct admits into Fisher. Students will receive an official notification letter from Fisher two weeks after their admittance into Ohio State. Students will confirm their intended business specialization at summer orientation. Incoming freshmen who did not apply to the university as a business major may change their major to business until May 1, 2025 by calling Undergraduate Admissions at 614-292-3980 or email askabuckeye@osu.edu.

First-year students
- Pay your acceptance fee by May 1
- Once deposit is paid, sign up for summer orientation and complete your housing contract
- Set up your Ohio State email using your Ohio State name.# and password

- Check out AP and IB examination credit (if applicable)
- Plan a visit! Join us online or in-person and connect with Fisher student ambassadors
Transfer Students
- Pay your acceptance fee
- Set up your Ohio State email using your Ohio State name.# and password
- View your Transfer Credit Report and get credits evaluated. It's your responsibility to make sure final transcripts have been sent
- Housing for transfer students is dependent upon space availability. Check out Off Campus and Commuter Student Engagement for alternative housing, if needed
Tips for All Students
- If you’re still undecided in business, research career options through our Office of Career Management. Remember, it’s useful to start thinking about your academic and career interests early
- Start building your business wardrobe! A suit is a necessity. Choose a matching suit in neutral colors (black, navy, gray)
- Brush up your resume
