Background
Nilang Vyas is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Operations & Business Analytics at the Fisher College of Business. He earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Physics, as well as a Master of Science degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, all from the Ohio State University. Prior to joining Fisher, Nilang worked as a Product Manager for Lululemon in the Global Fulfillment Engineering team. He has over 7 years of work experience across various industries, including roles at Bank of America, Procter & Gamble, Ford Motor Co., and Lululemon Athletica.
Nilang’s research interests lie in exploring the areas of sustainable operations, circular economy, and the nexus of consumer behavior and operations through empirical studies.
Outside of his academic and professional life, Nilang enjoys traveling, hiking, playing tennis, and diving into the science of coffee-making. He is a proud and lifelong Buckeye!
