Randy Spears
Background
Randy manages the Educational Technology Unit in the Fisher College of Business, supporting faculty in the areas of online learning, instructional design, lecture capture, webconferencing, and video production.
Bio: Randy is a graduate of Ohio State University and started his career in the College of Agriculture, working in satellite distance learning. From there, Randy worked at both the University of Wisconsin and Purdue University. He attained a Master’s degree in Education Technology at Purdue University and supervised efforts in satellite distance learning, videoconferencing and online learning. From there, Randy worked for the private consulting firm, Blackwell Consulting Inc., and then at Ashland University. At Ashland, he served as the Assistant Director of Instructional Technology. He returned to his alma mater in 2006.
