Responsibilities

As a Global Business Program Specialist, Jennifer Musser manages global experiential programs such as the Fisher Global Internships, the Fisher Global Consulting program, and the European Innovation Academy. Jennifer supports students with program advising, scholarship/funding advising, pre-program preparations, and during and post-program support for maximizing their experience and differentiating themselves among globally minded employers. Jennifer also instructs the BUSADM 4189 pre-departure course that prepares students for doing business abroad and serves as resident director on the short-term faculty-led Fisher Global Labs.

Biography

Jennifer's own undergraduate experience was immensely and positively impacted by her student exchange experience at Chubu University in Kasugai, Japan. Post-graduation, Jennifer returned to live and work in Japan for seven years as an English language instructor for junior and senior high school students as well as business professionals within automotive manufacturers, architectural firms, marketing firms, and mobile gaming app developers. Upon returning to the U.S., Jennifer has worked and/or volunteered with multiple non-profits dedicated to supporting language and workforce skill development among refugees and other non-native English speaking individuals. Most recently prior to joining the Office of Global Business | Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, Jennifer served as the Director of the Academic Success Center and Primary Designated School Official for F-1 international students at Lourdes University in Sylvania, OH.
