Yiming Claire Huang

Yiming Huang is a Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Behavior at the Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University. Her research examines how everyday experiences in the nonwork domain—particularly media use and leisure activities—spill over into the workplace. Specifically, she investigates how employees interpret these experiences, and how these interpretations shape their well-being and behavior at work. Her work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology. She received her B.B.A. from Tianjin University and her M.A. in Business Administration from Nanjing University, China.

Principles for managing the performance of individuals and groups in organizations; introduction to organizational behavior theory and its application to staffing, training, compensation, and appraisal. Prereq: Econ 2001.01 (200) and 2002.01 (201), or equivalent. Not open to students with credit for 3100 (400) or 701. Not open to students enrolled in UUSS, UExp or PreBSBA-PR.
