Background

Robert L. Heneman, Ph.D., is professor of management and human resources in the FIsher College of Business at The Ohio State University. Dr. Heneman has been a strategic compensation consultant for more than sixty public and private sector organizations throughout the world - including IBM, BancOne, Time Warner, Nationwide Insurance, and The Limited - and his work has been reported in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Money. He is the author of five previous books, including Merit Pay: Linking Pay Increases to Performance Ratings and Staffing Organizations, as well as numerous articles in professional journals.

  • BUSMHR 7313 - Total Rewards/Compensation

    Introduction to pay systems; including job evaluation, pay surveys, performance appraisals, and benefits. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for 865.

  • BUSMHR 4325 - Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining

    Examination of basic aspects of labor relations and collective bargaining including labor history, labor law, union structure and governance, labor-management bargaining, and contract administration.
