Specialized Master in Finance
BSBA/SMF Combined Degree Program
Undergraduate finance majors at Fisher College of Business with grade point averages of 3.5 or higher may combine the Specialized Master in Finance (SMF) degree with their undergraduate degree and earn both degrees concurrently. This option allows top students interested in the SMF degree to take courses that count toward both degrees.
Interested students must meet all of the following qualifications for admission:
- Be a current undergraduate finance major in the Fisher College of Business.
- Have a GPA of at least 3.5 at the time of application.
- Have completed at least 90 credits at the time of application.
- Have completed at least 115 credits by the time of matriculation into the SMF program (the first semester of fourth year).
- Apply before the end of the first semester of third year.
Two Key Benefits
- Time: Earn both undergraduate and graduate degrees in one 4.5 years, opposed to the 5.5 years it would take to earn both degrees separately.
- Cost: You pay for one of three semesters in the SMF program at the lower undergraduate rate. Earn your SMF degree for less.
