Master of Human Resource Management

Elective Coursework

In addition to required coursework, MHRM students must take at least nine elective credit hours to be completed at any point in the program.

Did you know? Electives may be any graduate-level BUSMHR courses, independent study, or Ohio State electives outside the Fisher College of Business related to human resources*. You'll work with your academic advisor to ensure your electives align with your goals. Electives are a great way to personalize the MHRM degree. View the curriculum to see when MHRM electives are typically taken. If you have questions, email fisher_mhrm@fisher.osu.edu

*Approval by academic advisor required. For non-business courses to meet the elective requirement, the courses must be offered at the graduate level and relate to the human resources field.
