Dean's Leadership Academy Ambassador Team
2024/2025 DLAA Team
The Dean’s Leadership Academy Ambassador Team (DLAAT) was created in the summer of 2020 with the goals of promoting community among DLA students and growing enrollment in the program across the university. This past year, a team of 12 Ambassadors worked together to visit classrooms across Fisher courses to share information about the DLA, hosted various events such as our Fall Festival to engage with the OSU community, and partnered with other OSU organizations to expand our reach outside the Fisher College of Business.
Join the ambassador team!
DLAAT recruits new ambassadors to the team in the middle of each semester. Interviews for selected candidates will take place toward the end of each semester to be added to the team for the following semester. Any Dean’s Leadership Academy student is eligible to apply once they have completed at least one DLA class, and they will remain a member of the DLAAT for the remainder of their time at OSU depending on their preference and participation with the team.
Build Community
Building community within the DLA is all about taking familiar faces in the classroom and strengthening those bonds and relationships to promote growth and leadership inside and outside the classroom. To achieve this, the DLAAT plans to host events for current DLA students to get to know each other and bond!
Grow the Program
Growing the Dean’s Leadership Academy focuses on creating connections across campus to promote the DLA and the leadership development opportunities within the program. To achieve this, the DLAAT is focusing on expanding both inside and outside the Fisher College of Business as we are accepting of all majors!
