The Honors Cohort Women in Business Summit connected top executives and industry leaders with tomorrow’s business professionals for an immersive learning experience in New York City. The event, which showcased the power and reach of Fisher’s network of alumni and friends, explored professional uncertainty and unexpected career turns, navigating tough challenges, and the importance of networking, sacrifice, teamwork and gratitude.

He was piloting planes before he was driving and now, at age 20, Torrington Ford is graduating with a dual major in air transportation and aviation management. Timashev’s fireside chat at Fisher coincided with the announcement of his $110 million gift to Ohio State to create the Center for Software Innovation.

A historic, $110 million gift from the Timashev Family Foundation to The Ohio State University will establish the Center for Software Innovation, which will bring together the College of Engineering, Fisher College of Business and other partners in creative new ways, including through the creation of endowed professorships, cutting-edge academic offerings and hands-on industry experience for students.

In 2010, Brandon Smith and Howard Patton took advantage of a global program offered at Fisher to experience how life and business were conducted internationally.

The Harry T. Mangurian, Jr. Foundation is making its largest-ever gift to The Ohio State University – $10 million to support dementia and leukemia research, cancer drug development, health and wellness initiatives for student-athletes and scholarships for graduate business students at Fisher.

From sharing his story with Fisher students, to serving on the college’s Dean’s Advisory Council, to supporting graduate students through scholarships, Jesse Tyson’s (MBA '76) pride in his Ohio State roots is immense.
