Fisher Jumpstart

Start your Fisher journey before the semester even begins.

Fisher Jumpstart is an immersive early-start experience designed to help incoming students transition confidently into college life, connect with the Fisher community and build the foundation for success at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.

Through community-building experiences, peer mentorship, interactive workshops and leadership development, students gain early access to the people, resources and opportunities that will shape their undergraduate experience — all before the first day of classes.

Students leave Fisher Jumpstart with:

• a head-start on involvement and academic success
• meaningful friendships and a strong sense of belonging
• confidence navigating Ohio State and Fisher resources
• leadership and professional development skills
• connections with current students, staff and alumni

Participation details

Fisher Jumpstart is intentionally designed as a small, immersive experience that helps students build meaningful connections before the semester begins.

Because space is limited:

• participation is selective and not guaranteed
• students must accept their admission to The Ohio State University and The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business before applying

Additional program considerations:

• participants may incur university early move-in housing fees, if applicable
• students participating in Fisher Jumpstart are unable to participate in the Ohio State Welcome Leader (OWL) Program
