Fisher First Program
Fisher First is a year-long program designed to help first-year students succeed at Fisher. Through enhanced programming, participants receive personalized, holistic support as they transition to college, build confidence, explore business careers and connect with a supportive community.
The program is especially beneficial for a wide range of Fisher students, including those who are first-generation, economically challenged or those who have not previously had exposure to career paths in business.
The Fisher First Program begins with an early arrival for incoming first-year participants and continues throughout the student’s college journey.

Through early move‑in, personalized support, and intentional programming designed to guide you throughout your entire first year, Fisher First gives you the momentum you need to succeed from day one.
- Arrive early and get a head start: Move in before the rest of campus, settle into Fisher life, and begin building your network before classes even start.
- Count on a dedicated support team: You’ll be connected to staff and peer leaders who know you by name and ensure you feel seen, supported, and set up for success.
- Navigate Fisher with a seminar designed just for you: In our Fisher First seminar, you’ll learn about the resources, opportunities, and networks available across the college—and how to use them to chart your academic and career path.
- Receive guidance all year long: From workshops and check-ins to events that help you learn, grow, and explore, you’ll benefit from thoughtful, developmental programming tailored to your needs throughout your entire first year.

Follow the steps below to be considered for the program:
- Accept your Ohio State and Fisher admission offer: confirm your spot at The Ohio State University and the Fisher College of Business by May 1, 2026
- Submit your Fisher First application: complete the Fisher First application by June 12, 2026 to be considered for the program
- Accept your Fisher First invitation: if selected, confirm your participation in the Fisher First program by June 26, 2026
