Business Bootcamp
Business Bootcamp is a college readiness program that equips high school students with the information, tools and resources needed to successfully pursue a college degree and future career in business.
Designed especially for Ohio high school students who may not have access to, or prior experience with, college readiness programs, this day-long program hosted on Fisher's campus offers a robust suite of workshops, speaker panels, professional development sessions and more. Topics include:
- The college application process at Ohio State
- Navigating the financial aid process including applying for scholarships and filing the FAFSA
- Exploring business as a potential major and career path
- Identifying resources that support student success at Fisher
Application and eligibility
Applications are opened each spring ahead of the summer program date. A 150-200 word essay is required to apply to this program, and students who do not submit a complete essay will not be considered. The following students are encouraged to apply:
- Rising high school juniors & seniors with a 3.2 cumulative high school GPA
- Ohio residents
- Students with limited access and/or experience with college planning
- First-generation college students
