Business Bootcamp is an opportunity for students to gain information and tools necessary to be successful college applicants.

This Fisher summer program prepares and educates first-generation and underrepresented students about the college search process and introduce attendees to a variety of top topics within business at The Ohio State University and Fisher College of Business.

Important Information

  • Purpose

    This event is an opportunity for prospective college students around the state of Ohio to interact with current Fisher students, alumni, faculty, business leaders, recruiters, to start building your collegiate toolkit.

    • Participate in workshops with top Fisher faculty and company recruiters
    • Learn about the numerous involvement opportunities available at Fisher and Ohio State
    • Cultivate professional development and first-impression skills through an etiquette lunch
    • Learn about the college application process and Ohio State
    • Navigate financial aid information and the lingo used during the college application proces
  • Application Criteria

    The following students are encouraged to apply:

    • First-generation college students (neither parents graduated from a four-year institution with a bachelor’s degree) and underrepresented students
    • Rising high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA
    • Ohio resident
  • Event Details

    Next year we will be hosting on the Fisher College of Business campus:

    • July 2020, exact date TBD
  • Funding & Travel

    The event is funded by the Fisher College of Business. Participants only need to cover transportation to and from the event and personal expenses. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
