Demonstrating its commitment to the academic study of effective leadership, the Fisher Leadership Initiative has selected the recipients for its inaugural research grant program.
Thirteen individuals from across The Ohio State University were awarded funding to further their research as part of the initiative’s Leadership Research Grant Program.
“The study of leadership in inherently cross-disciplinary, so it was exciting and encouraging to see so many fields of study from throughout The Ohio State University represented in the research proposals,” said Tim Judge, executive director of the Fisher Leadership Initiative and the Joseph A. Alutto Chair in Leadership Effectiveness.
“The Leadership Initiative is proud to support the scholarly excellence that is so instrumental in understanding all aspects of leadership. I look forward to the insights that these researchers will provide.”
In all, the Fisher Leadership Initiative distributed more than $61,000 to individuals from nine colleges at Ohio State. Recipients of the grants will present their research publicly at the initiative’s Spring 2018 Research Forum.
