Global Marketing: Taiwan

Marketing students should jump on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity take your global marketing elective while studying abroad! You’ll have the chance to take what you’ve learned in class and see it applied as you meet with executives from both multi-national and Taiwanese companies. You'll be able to soak up the cultural sites, by hiking Elephant mountain, launching lanterns in Shifen, and visit Tai Pei 101, the Raohe Night Market, Sun Moon Lake, Kenting Recreation area and more!

Previous business visits included, Fubon Securities, TSMC, Micron, Taiwan Design Research Institute, Kenda Tire, Johnson Health Tech, and the American Institute of Taiwan (subect to change).

I had never been very far out of the country before, so this experience was really different, but I'm glad I went! I figured I would never go to Taiwan on my own in the future, so this was my chance to travel there. We got to visit lots of businesses and see the difference between the way business is conducted in Asian countries versus American businesses.
