Fisher College of Business has teamed with MoreSteam to offer a more flexible, affordable alternative to traditional classroom training. Together, we provide a full suite of self-paced, instructor-supported online courses designed to fit your schedule – and your goals. 

Courses are available on demand, so you can start any time and progress at your own pace. Each course is designed by education professionals who understand how adults learn best. You'll find a thoughtful blend of multimedia content – including audio narration, blackboard-style videos, animations, step-by-step data analysis walkthroughs, and simulated project work – to match different learning styles and keep you actively engaged. Interactive practice reinforces key concepts, while instructor support is available when you need it. Many courses are offered in multiple languages, with the option to select your preferred language during registration.

Lean Six Sigma

Lean Six Sigma Belt offerings are built for working professionals who need flexible, high-quality training they can apply immediately. Developed by experienced educators and continuous improvement experts, each course prepares you to lead real projects using the DMAIC framework and Lean tools. You'll get hands-on practice with both data analysis and problem-solving techniques–plus the leadership skills to drive change and deliver measurable results. The course supports your path toward certification (certification not included) and is designed to fit into your schedule, on your terms. 

Case studies and examples throughout the course can be tailored to your industry. Choose from Manufacturing (default), Healthcare, Financial Services,  or general Services when you register to ensure the content aligns with your work environment and challenges. 

Operations Short Courses

Operations Short Courses are presented in a logical sequence to provide an introduction to Six Sigma concepts and the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) improvement process. The lessons are modular, but we encourage you to explore all of the material.

There is no formal certification for these courses, but you will receive a certificate of completion in addition to CEUs or PDUs of credit. These courses have no pre-requisites.

Process Design (Design for Six Sigma/DFSS)

These courses cover the full Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) body of knowledge, equipping you with practical tools to design or redesign both product or system design, the Black Belt course provides more advanced methods, including robust statistical tools and design techniques. 

While these courses do not lead to a formal certification, you'll receive a certificate of completion along with CEUs or PDUs to support your professional development.

Lean 123: Lean Training for Individuals and Teams

This graduated Lean training program allows individuals and organizations alike to match the right amount of content to their intended audience or goals. Use Lean Fundamentals to give a wide audience a broad understanding of Lean. At the same time, challenge your current Lean Practitioners to develop the skills necessary to run independent Kaizen events.

Lean training provides individuals with valuable skills and perspectives that can positively impact their work performance, problem-solving abilities, and overall approach to tasks and projects no matter the industry. MoreSteam's Lean courses are tailored with specific examples for healthcare, finance, service, or manufacturing.

Use these Lean courses as a lightweight addition to your organization's current training materials or pair them with MoreSteam's Lean training simulations . A Lean simulation helps participants realize the impact Lean concepts have on tackling a problem.
