Finance is more than saying "no" to investment requests, doing “data analysis” or just providing reports. Being good at Finance helps you become a better/faster decision maker, act as true business partner, drive action to results, and operate with an ownership mentality!
We believe that finance should be a cross-functional skill, and our program reflects this philosophy. We'll help you learn how to apply financial analysis and decision-making techniques to your work, no matter what your role is in the organization.

Our Faculty
Susan Clark is a graduate of The Ohio State University, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering and an MBA. After working in the Consulting Division of Arthur Andersen, Susan began teaching full time at Franklin University, teaching Corporate Finance, Investments, Money & Banking and Senior Seminar.
In 1999, Susan returned to Ohio State as an adjunct and in 2010 became a Senior Lecturer, teaching Intro to Finance, Investments and Corporate Finance. Susan is a Certified Master Reviewer and Peer Evaluator for Quality Matters and a Faculty Partner for Cengage.
Susan received the Fisher College of Business Outstanding Undergraduate Instructor Award in 2023, the Max M. Fisher Faculty Eminence Award in 2015, and the Daniel Westerbeck Teaching Excellence Award in 2013. She was awarded the ENGIE-Axium & Fisher College of Business Teaching Fellow in 2019. Susan resides in Dublin with her husband, Mike. .
Cancellation and Transfer Policy
All cancellations and transfers must be received in writing. Submit your request via email to Jennie McAndrew at mcandrew.28@osu.edu with the name of the program, followed by “cancellation” or “transfer” in the subject line.
- Cancellations must be made at least thirty (30) days prior to the first day of the program in order to be eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations must be made at least fourteen (14) days prior to the first day of the program in order to be eligible for a 50% refund.
- Any cancellations made less than fourteen (14) days prior to the first day of the program will forfeit the registration fee.
- If you for any reason are unable to attend the program, please consider sending someone in your place. Participants can transfer their registration to someone else within their organization at no charge up to 24 hours before the first day of the program.
