The Builders Exchange of Central Ohio serves local commercial construction companies and they wanted help developing the management skills and business knowledge of their future leaders. To accomplish this, in 2006 we partnered with The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business to develop an intensive program that includes classroom lecture and discussion, case studies, projects for application of learning and networking events. With faculty from OSU, the BX Rising Leaders Institute prepares high potential individuals to serve as future leaders. The content is relevant to our industry, and the sessions provide valuable interactive conversations between individuals who will be making their mark within their companies. The affiliation and content through the prestigious Fisher College of Business is a strong marketing point!
I learned a lot about the capabilities, limitations, opportunities, risks, and threats of this emerging technology that is being adopted into every part of society. Professor Nate Craig and Professor Dennis Hirsch are remarkable teachers and their ability to convey this complex technology to actionable information is crucial.
