Lean Six Sigma

Lean Six Sigma Belt offerings provide affordable, online content to offer students the highest degree of flexibility. You set your own schedule and progress at your own speed as you prepare for the Lean Six Sigma Belt certifications (this course is just in preparation for certification and does not include certification). You will learn the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) structure and how to apply Lean tools and techniques to organize process improvement activities. You will learn practice techniques for both quantitative and non-quantitative analysis, and gain the team leadership skills necessary to get projects across the goal line.

Case studies and examples in these courses can be customized to focus on Manufacturing (default), Healthcare, Financial Services, and Services applications. You can select your version when you register for the course.

Operations Short Courses

Operations Short Courses are presented in a logical sequence to provide an introduction to Six Sigma concepts and the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) improvement process. The lessons are modular, but we encourage you to explore all of the material.

There is no formal certification for these courses, but you will receive a certificate of completion in addition to CEUs or PDUs of credit. These courses have no pre-requisites.

Design Six Sigma

Courses in this section cover the complete Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) body of knowledge, including both product and process design. DFSS is a set of best practices and tools that, when integrated into a product/service development process, increases your organization's ability to meet your customers' requirements in a timely, cost-effective manner.

There is no formal certification for these courses, but you will receive a certificate of completion in addition to CEUs or PDUs of credit.

Lean 123: Lean Training for Individuals and Teams

This graduated Lean training program allows individuals and organizations alike to match the right amount of content to their intended audience or goals. Use Lean Fundamentals to give a wide audience a broad understanding of Lean. At the same time, challenge your current Lean Practitioners to develop the skills necessary to run independent Kaizen events.

Lean training provides individuals with valuable skills and perspectives that can positively impact their work performance, problem-solving abilities, and overall approach to tasks and projects no matter the industry. MoreSteam's Lean courses are tailored with specific examples for healthcare, finance, service, or manufacturing.

Use these Lean courses as a lightweight addition to your organization's current training materials or pair them with MoreSteam's Lean training simulations. A Lean simulation helps participants realize the impact Lean concepts have on tackling a problem.
