Leadership Labs

students in a workshop

Leadership Labs offer students a deep-dive into each of the 18 principled leadership competencies from our foundational BUILD Leadership Assessment. Individually addressing the importance of each competency empowers students to develop a stronger sense of their capabilities as a principled leader. Actively hone a variety of leadership skills in a collaborative learning environment!

All undergraduate students are encouraged to register for Leadership Labs.

Each Leadership Lab is comprised of two parts:

  • A 20-25 minute online learning module** that equips students with foundational knowledge and best practices of a specific leadership competency.

  • A 60-75 minute workshop that actively applies knowledge gained from the online module through in-person interactive activities, collaborative discussion, and personal reflection.

Join The Leadership Initiative for a Leadership Lab that dives into the process of decision-making, including how we can better integrate information and be more inclusive during the process.
