Jenny Luu, Innovation Program Manager

Photo Jenny wearing whiteJenny Luu is a dynamic and passionate Innovation Program Manager within the Center for Innovation Strategies. She plays a pivotal role in fostering creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration among students at the Ohio State University. As a facilitator, Jenny excels in designing and implementing interactive workshops, sprints, and innovation frameworks that spark curiosity and inspire breakthrough ideas. Her main focus is on a series of semester long student innovation accelerator programs which are bundled under a unique program called OnRamp. This is an innovation idea accelerator driven by creative students at The Ohio State University that take sponsor given concepts and work through steps of innovation to result in unique, competitive opportunities.

Prior to becoming the program manager, Jenny has participated in OnRamp throughout her undergraduate career. Jenny recently finished her B.S. in Biological Engineering with a minor in Pharmaceutical Sciences at The Ohio State University in May of 2023. At her graduation, she had participated in a total of six different programs at CIS. Due to her positive experience, she is deeply committed to supporting and mentoring students throughout their innovation journey by cultivating a growth mindset and instilling confidence, enabling them to tackle real-world problems with ingenuity and resilience.

Newly graduated, she hopes to pursue a Master’s degree in Industrial Design at The Ohio State University and stick around in Columbus for years to come. Jenny is originally from Albuquerque, NM, but moved to Cincinnati, OH in the summer of 2013 and now lives in Columbus to further her education and career. Aside from academics and professional work, Jenny is a part-time photographer and volunteers her skills around campus for organizations like TEDx, Unchained, and more!
