Supply Chain and Logistics Advisory Council

The Fisher Supply Chain and Logistics Advisory Council connects industry leaders with the Fisher College of Business. Council members provide strategic guidance and advocacy for Ohio State’s logistics and supply chain programs. The Council includes leaders from transportation, manufacturing, retail, consulting, technology, energy, and logistics services. Represented organizations include Apple, DHL Supply Chain, Dow Chemical, Honda and Intel. Members share perspectives on industry trends, workforce needs, and emerging business challenges. 

The Council serves as the program’s “voice of the customer.” Members help ensure curriculum, research, and student development activities remain relevant and impactful. They provide industry insights, feedback on new initiatives, and support for career development efforts. Council members also contribute perspectives on emerging research opportunities and industry challenges. Through regular engagement, they help shape the program’s continued growth and success. Their partnership strengthens connections between Ohio State and the supply chain profession.

Tada Yamamoto

Senior Director, Supply Chain Pricing and Administration, McGraw Hill

Tada Yamamoto currently serves as the Senior Director, Supply Chain Pricing and Administration for McGraw Hill. In his role, he leads the internal physical product pricing strategy and manages the global supply chain’s P&L with the finance team including CapEx equipment and third party OpEx. In doing so, he oversees Supply Chain contracts and manages relationships with key print and materials suppliers overseeing ~$200M in annual spend.

Previous to McGraw Hill, Tada served clients as a procurement and supply chain consultant with several firms including Deloitte Consulting, The Hackett Group, and McKinsey & Co. He is a graduate of the Fisher College of Business’s BSBA and MBA programs focusing in Operations and Logistics.
