Do I have to major in business when applying for the Global Business Learning Community?

YES. Students applying for this program must intend to enroll in the Fisher College of Business.

Are Global Business Learning Community students admitted into the major program?

YES. GBLC participants are directly admitted to the BSBA major program and desired specialization.

When can I apply for the Global Business Learning Community?

Students can apply for the Global Learning Community after they are admitted to the university.

Can GBLC participants apply for Honors Programs?

YES. Once you earn a 3.5 GPA or better in at least 15 hours of coursework (at OSU) you may apply to the Honors Program through Fisher College of Business and still remain active within the Global Business Learning Community.

Do I have to live in the residence hall?

In order to develop our community, all participants must live in Lawrence Tower.

Do I have to participate in off-campus trips?

While not mandatory, historically, most GBLC members participate in the overnight trip.

Which university offices are involved in the Global Business Learning Community?

The Global Business Learning Community is a program sponsored by the Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business Undergraduate Leadership & Engagement Office, Office of Global Business, and the Office of University Housing.
