For the third straight year, teams of MBA students from Fisher College of Business helped bring home the ACG Cup.
A team of second-year MBA students, Chris Buehler, Michael Dean, Phil Larger, Krisztina Nadasdy and Jeff Scudder took first place at the annual investment banking case competition hosted by the Association for Corporate Growth.
The members of the winning team are invited to attend ACG Cleveland’s Deal Maker Awards, which recognize leading corporate deal makers for their accomplishments in the mergers and acquisitions field. They will also receive a trip to InterGrowth, ACG Global’s annual conference, which will be held in May in New Orleans.
First-year Fisher students Conrado Kretli Castro, Rajat Kapoor, Gabriel M. C. Lima, Trevor Morse and Julanda Al-Riyami finished third among nine teams at the competition.
The ACG Cup competition provides MBA students an opportunity to deliver advice on valuation, capital markets and strategic mergers and acquisitions to a panel of professionals in the mergers and acquisitions field. ACG chapters across the nation host ACG Cup competitions, where members create stronger relationships with leading business schools. Additionally, the competition provides corporate growth professionals with the opportunity to connect with up-and-coming talent.
