Esper honored with Multicultural Mentoring Award
Associate Professor of Marketing and Logistics Terry Esper was recently named the 2018 recipient of the Williams-Qualls-Spratlen (WQS) Multicultural Mentoring Award of Excellence by the American Marketing Association.
Esper is a recognized expert in the area of last-mile logistics. He was honored for his contributions to others and for serving as a valuable mentor in the marketing community.
“Terry’s incredible commitment to helping and mentoring others within our field is truly worthy of recognition,” said Thomas J. Goldsby, the Harry T. Mangurian Jr. Foundation Professor in Business and chair of Fisher’s Department of Marketing and Logistics. “We are proud to work alongside a colleague who is dedicated to developing future marketing and logistics thought leaders.”
According to the AMA, the WQS Multicultural Mentoring Award of Excellence carries on the legacy of three world class marketing scholars, educators and mentors of people of color: Jerome Williams, William (Bill) Qualls and Thaddeus H. Spratlen.
