Forever Buckeye
If a student graduated from an Ohio high school and will be a resident of Ohio as of the first day of the term attending, a student will be considered an Ohio resident whether they lived in Ohio prior to the beginning of the term or not. Ohio State adopted this policy beginning January 1, 2012, and it will not be retroactive.
Students will need to submit a high school diploma to the Registrar once the term has begun to have their residency and fees adjusted at that time. This determination is made by the Registrar, not Admissions, and cannot be set prior to the beginning of the term.
(Ohio Revised Code: 3333.31)

In addition to scholarship opportunities, eligible students may be able to apply for federal and private student loans, as well as Graduate or Teaching Assistantships on campus.
