Global Business Certification Grant

"Building Capacity for Global Awareness and Competitiveness in a Rapidly Changing World"
The Ohio State CIBER aims to provide research and training in international aspects of trade, commerce, and other fields of study. As part of this goal, CIBER is committed to providing training through the Ohio State CIBER Global Business Certification Grant Program. This program provides financial support (up to $500 reimbursement) for students who are pursuing global business certifications, such as the Certified Global Business Professional through NASBITE International.

Funds are available to undergraduate, masters and doctoral students in good academic standing from any college/department. Students who successfully pass the credential certification exam will receive funds as a reimbursement.
Eligible expenses include:
• Exam Registration Fees: Exam fee expenses for global business certifications.
The following expenses are not eligible for coverage:
• Software licensing for external systems not utilized by Ohio State
• Technology (laptops, tablets, phones), etc.
Online applications will be accepted until August 1, 2025 and reviewed by a multidisciplinary faculty/CIBER staff committee. Funds will be reimbursed after successfully passing the credential certification exam.

If you are requesting funds for a credential certification exam, applicants must have passed the exam and show proof before reimbursement is processed.
All approved funds are subject to the rules and regulations of The Ohio State University and the US Department of Education.
Please note that funds will be distributed pending availability of funds from the Department of Education.
