Prospective Participant Profile
This program is designed for business leaders, managers, analysts, consultants, educators, operators, and professionals who want to use ChatGPT to improve productivity, communication, research, analysis, planning, and workflow execution. It is also relevant for teams exploring how AI assistants, agents, and coding tools can support business innovation.
No technical background is required. Participants should be comfortable working with business documents, email, spreadsheets, presentations, or analytical tasks and should bring examples of work where better AI assistance could save time, improve quality, or create new capabilities.

Jim Perry, Consultant, Adjunct Lecturer
Jim Perry is a seasoned data and technology leader with over 20 years of experience driving digital transformation for Fortune 100 companies. His expertise spans artificial intelligence (AI), data strategy, and enterprise technology implementation, helping organizations become data-driven, customer-centric, and operationally efficient.
As an Adjunct Lecturer at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, he teaches courses in AI Prompt Engineering and Data Mining, equipping professionals with practical skills to leverage AI for business impact. He also advises companies through his private consulting practice, where he helps teams integrate AI to improve efficiency, speed, and decision-making.
Cancellation and Transfer Policy
All cancellations and transfers must be received in writing. Submit your request via email to Jennie McAndrew at mcandrew.28@osu.edu with the name of the program, followed by “cancellation” or “transfer” in the subject line.
- Cancellations must be made at least thirty (30) days prior to the first day of the program in order to be eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations must be made at least fourteen (14) days prior to the first day of the program in order to be eligible for a 50% refund.
- Any cancellations made less than fourteen (14) days prior to the first day of the program will forfeit the registration fee.
- If you for any reason are unable to attend the program, please consider sending someone in your place. Participants can transfer their registration to someone else within their organization at no charge up to 24 hours before the first day of the program.
