Fisher College of Business has teamed with MoreSteam, a provider of online Lean Six Sigma training, to provide a more flexible and affordable alternative to traditional classroom training methods. A complete suite of instructor-supported online courses is available and can be started or stopped at any time, offering complete scheduling flexibility in a totally self-paced environment.
All course content is delivered on-demand in a multi-media format including audio slide shows and lectures, diagrams, charts, simulated experiments, interactive practice sessions, online quiz modules and virtual discussion with an instructor. Links to outside research are provided to explore chosen subject matter in greater detail. In response to customer demand, several of the online courses are available in multiple languages. You can make a training language selection when registering.

Lean Six Sigma
Lean Six Sigma Belt offerings provide affordable, online content to offer students the highest degree of flexibility. You set your own schedule and progress at your own speed as you prepare for the Lean Six Sigma Belt certifications (this course is just in preparation for certification and does not include certification). You will learn the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) structure and how to apply Lean tools and techniques to organize process improvement activities. You will learn practice techniques for both quantitative and non-quantitative analysis, and gain the team leadership skills necessary to get projects across the goal line.
Case studies and examples in these courses can be customized to focus on Manufacturing (default), Healthcare, Financial Services, and Services applications. You can select your version when you register for the course.
This instructor-supported course covers the complete Lean Six Sigma Black Belt body of knowledge. As a Black Belt, you are able to lead any team across your organization in executing process improvement projects. If your goal is to master this skill set and improve your value as an employee and organizational leader, then this course is for you.

This instructor-supported course covers the complete Lean Six Sigma Green Belt body of knowledge. As a Green Belt, you can assist or lead a team in executing process improvement projects. Explore how Lean Six Sigma enhances problem-solving, drives root cause analysis, and builds efficiency into processes to consistently deliver value to the customer.
This Lean Six Sigma course is geared towards CPAs (Certified Public Accountants). In addition to the Yellow Belt Certification credential, this NASBA (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy) approved course can earn you 14.5 CPE (Continuous Professional Education) credit hours. To earn the Yellow Belt Certification and CPE credit hours, you must complete the course and qualified assessment within one year of purchase and achieve a minimum passing grade of 75 percent. You will receive a certificate of completion when these requirements are met.

Operations Short Courses
Operations Short Courses are presented in a logical sequence to provide an introduction to Six Sigma concepts and the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) improvement process. The lessons are modular, but we encourage you to explore all of the material.
There is no formal certification for these courses, but you will receive a certificate of completion in addition to CEUs or PDUs of credit. These courses have no pre-requisites.
This course provides the necessary tools to chart and understand process behavior over time. The body of knowledge covered by this course of study is also known as Statistical Process Control (SPC). As you become proficient in all of the tools necessary to to chart process behavior, quantify variability, and assess process capability, you will be prepared to play an important role as a part of a process improvement team.

Design Six Sigma
Courses in this section cover the complete Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) body of knowledge, including both product and process design. DFSS is a set of best practices and tools that, when integrated into a product/service development process, increases your organization's ability to meet your customers' requirements in a timely, cost-effective manner.
There is no formal certification for these courses, but you will receive a certificate of completion in addition to CEUs or PDUs of credit.
This instructor-supported course covers the DCDOV (Define, Concept, Design, Optimize, Verify) roadmap and is integrated with Sigma Lake®, an innovative simulation-based design practice project using the Roller Coaster Tycoon® video game. You will not only discover and learn core concepts of DFSS, but you will also gain experience and competence as you apply them to the course project simulation. The Product version of this course includes additional lessons on advanced statistics and experimental design.
