Program Design
Together, we design comprehensive learning experiences with the strategic focus, breadth and depth, to truly impact organizational thinking and behaviors.
Our approach to program design is part of a larger partnership that we establish with our clients. This partnership takes us inside the company to more fully understand the development needs and goals of the company. Clear input and collaboration with our clients is essential to connect the program experience to the strategic initiatives, and the cultural imperatives, of the company.
Contact us so we may discuss what your learning experience could look like. The possibilities are endless.
Explore our process
The work begins with a process of discovery where we study the history and heritage of the company, examine the business goals and the strategies to achieve those goals, and identify the requirements that land on the people who will contribute to and implement those strategies. Naturally, this line of inquiry and examination starts out more broad, before narrowing in on specific learning needs and objectives.
Using our discovery as a foundation, we are then able to collaborate around the design of programs specifically focused on the needs of the organization and its people. Clear input and collaboration with our clients is essential to connect the program experience to the strategic initiatives and the cultural imperatives of the company. Together we design comprehensive learning experiences with the strategic focus, breadth, and depth to truly impact organizational thinking and behaviors.
The delivery of each program is an immersive experience where our faculty members work with participants to explore concepts, study cases and examples, examine tools and methods, and collaborate to apply the learning to actual challenges and/ or projects
Key elements of a successful program experience include:
- Instruction by top-tier faculty from Fisher College of Business
- Faculty Academic Director to ensure a coherent, high-impact experience
- Course materials (case studies, articles, books) chosen by faculty
- Use of the Ohio State online learning management system
- Purpose-built classrooms, breakout rooms, audio-visual/ tech support
- Breakfast, lunch and AM & PM breaks on each program day
- Pre and post-assessments of participants to gauge and drive learning
- Expert program administration for and excellent executive learning experience
While specific learning objectives are crafted for each program, our real focus is on the impact that each learning experience will have on the individuals - personally and professionally - as we must ensure that they acquire the competence and confidence to help drive their company's growth. Equally important is the impact on the business, customers/ constituencies, and the organization more broadly. In fact, the desired impact is discussed and documented upstream in our process, and we work with our clients to understand how best to measure the impact from the program experience itself, and on the individuals and the organization over time.
