Fisher Emerging Consultants

Fisher Emerging Consultants (FEC) is a selective program/class for sophomores and juniors interested in working in the field of consulting. Students selected for FEC work with select career management staff to develop a consulting focused job search strategy plan and receive personalized coaching while networking with top consulting firms.

If you are accepted into Fisher Emerging Consultants, you will:

  • Identify steps to take in a consulting internship or job search
  • Apply consulting interview techniques
  • Demonstrate professionalism in presentation, networking, and business communications

 

Requirements:

  • You must be admitted as a Business Major by Spring 2026.  Students from other colleges are welcome to apply, although business majors will be given priority in the selection process
  • You must have at least a 3.40 cumulative GPA
  • You must be available to enroll in the Fisher Emerging Consultants section of BA2601, which will meet during the second session of the spring semester on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:50-2:45 pm
  • You must be planning to graduate between December 2026 – August 2028

Consulting Pathway Program

Introducing the CONSULTING PATHWAY for Fisher Students, offered by the Fisher Office of Career Management

What it is: Consulting Pathway is a 5-week voluntary program that introduces students to the career field of Management Consulting. The program will cover what consulting is, why you might want to pursue it, and how to prepare for it.
When: Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm starting on February 4, 2026, weekly through March 4, 2026.
Where: Schoenbaum Hall, Room 315
Who: Open to all Fisher Students, especially Freshmen and Sophomores.
