Fisher Emerging Leaders Council
The Emerging Leaders Council at The Ohio State University Max M. Fisher College of Business empowers alumni to advocate for Fisher and Ohio State by leading activities within the Fisher Global Community. Council members serve as vital connectors between alumni in their geographic region, helping foster relationships and opportunities.
As part of this prestigious group, you’ll work closely with the Fisher Alumni Board to develop strategies for engaging young alumni, contribute to college events, and inspire a culture of philanthropy through your leadership. Your involvement will strengthen Fisher’s presence globally while creating lasting connections within our vast network.

Council Terms
Each member serves a two-year term, with the potential to renew once (for a total of four years). In special circumstances, a third two-year term may be granted. Terms begin July 1 and conclude June 30.
Engagement Expectations
In the first year, you’ll propose and begin work on at least one engagement opportunity, either individually or in collaboration with others. During your second year, you’ll execute your project and mentor new emerging leaders in your region.
Philanthropic Commitment
Council members are expected to make a minimum annual gift of $1,000 ($84/month) to a Fisher College of Business fund of their choice. This $2,000 commitment over two years supports Fisher’s mission and ensures future generations of Business Buckeyes thrive.
