Project Brief Submission

Below are the “requirements” for client partners to be part of the Marketing Consulting Projects program:

  1. Finalize a Project Brief prior to the first day of class (this would be a refinement of the information submitted in the form below with help from professor).

  2. Present on the first day of class regarding overview of situation and project. Client will have 90 minutes for presentation and student Q&A.
  3. Have someone act as key point of contact for group questions throughout the semester
  4. Attend a live meeting with groups about 2/3rds into the semester as a project “check in”. This will be over 3-hour period.
  5. Have a person or team attend last day of class to "judge" group presentations. This will be a 4-hour time period – 3 hours for presentations (with break in middle) followed by 1-hour meeting to discuss and select the “winning” team.
Provide context for the purpose of the project with relevant background. This can include company history, current state, and core challenges/complicatoins that have led to the current need(s).
How would you summarize the core need(s) in one or a few questions? This/these will be the over-arching "aim" for the project groups.
Describe the core target audience(s) that project groups should focus on reaching (this is particularly important for directing research efforts).
Indicate if you have already been in communication with someone at Ohio State about this potential project.
