Strategic Sales Certificate
Develop the skills to build relationships, understand customer needs and create value through professional business-to-business sales. Combining foundational business knowledge with simulations, realistic sales scenarios and insights from industry professionals, the Strategic Sales Certificate strengthens your communication, active listening, problem-solving, negotiation and relationship-management skills. You’ll gain practical experience that prepares you for careers in sales, account management, business development, sales leadership and other customer-focused roles.
Certificate requirements
The Strategic Sales Certificate requires 12 credit hours across four courses. To complete the certificate, students must:
- Declare their intent to pursue the certificate with their academic advisor
- Earn at least a C- in each certificate course
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade-point average
- Complete all certificate coursework for a letter grade
Marketing specialization students may apply one of the three sales courses toward their specialization elective requirements.
