Qili Wang
Background
Qili Wang joined the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in the summer of 2026. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, as well as a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Renmin University of China.
His current research involves two interrelated streams: (1) the impact of digital platform technologies, with a focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence and user behavior, and (2) the design of responsible AI systems aimed at developing new technical solutions to address real-world business challenges.
His research has been published in premier academic journals, including Information Systems Research (ISR), Management Science, Production and Operations Management (POM), and INFORMS Journal on Computing (IJOC). His work has also received the INFORMS eBusiness Section Best Paper Runner-Up Award and a Best Paper Nomination at the Workshop on Information Technologies and Systems (WITS).
