Real estate is a rich and exciting industry offering students many opportunities.  The real estate education at Ohio State aims to produce the next generation of industry leaders with the necessary skills to succeed in the business world,  who have the ability to solve complex problems and are aware of the impact physical environment has on the shape and nature of communities we live in.  On the right you can find information about real estate degrees and courses being offered throughout The Ohio State University, career resources including an overview of different career paths in the real estate industry, and information about available scholarships.


  • Scholarships

    The Center for Real Estate is proud to offer a number of scholarships to both undergraduate and graduate students that range from $1000 - $4000. The Center awards approximately $35,000 on annual basis. The scholarship application process consists of an initial selection based on student's application and an interview with a scholarship committee. Scholarships are announced in the fall semester and awarded during the spring semester of the same academic year, however exceptions can be made.

    2017-2018 scholarship application deadline was September 25, 2017.

  • Travel grants

    The Ohio State Center for Real Estate offers small travel grants to both, graduate and undergraduate students, who want to travel for the purpose of networking and career-enhancement to Center or industry-related events. The grants are designed to cover a portion of the cost of the trip and will typically range between $100-$350, depending on the destination and event.

    Applications  should be submitted as early as possible; requests will be processed as they are received, until designated funds are exhausted. Interested students should fill out this application and send it along with their resume to Mary Beth McCormick at
