Project Analysis Series

Once per quarter, we bring in all of the players involved in a major local real estate development. From conception to completion they cover the entire process of how the project came to being – where the idea came from, how it got off the ground, what went right, what went wrong, and what they  would change.

This series shows students the whole picture, from the very beginning to the present, of how a project gets done. The event is not a critique of the project.  Rather, we expect that through a thoughtful, retrospective narrative of a specific project, the group of panelists will be able to provide insight on how things work in the real estate industry. We created this series with the hope that students, with little or no experience, will be able to gain a better understanding of how the business works, one project at a time.

The series is hosted by the Center for Real Estate Education and Research in partnership with the Fisher Real Estate Society (FRES), an undergraduate and graduate student organization.
