Carmella VanZant is a Columbus Real Estate Manager for The Kroger Co., and has been with the company for over 12 years.  The Columbus Division operates 126 stores in Ohio and West Virginia.  Carmella has worked on a wide range of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, development of new stores, expansions, and fuel centers, capital budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, and negotiation and preparation of purchase contracts, leases and related agreements.

Prior to joining the Real Estate department, Carmella had a broad background with Kroger having held key positions in Internal Audit, Finance, and Information Technology at Kroger’s Corporate Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. Carmella received her B.S. in Business from Miami University and her MBA from Xavier University.  Carmella also holds a CPA license.
