Derek Rogers is a Management Associate with the Financial Leadership Rotation Program (FLRP) at Nationwide Insurance.  As part of this program, Derek will spend 18 months rotating through three finance-oriented positions around the Company.  Derek graduated from the Fisher College of Business MBA Program in June of 2009 with majors in Investment Management and Real Estate.  In addition, Derek served as President of the Fisher Real Estate Society during his second year at Fisher.  During the summer after his first year of the MBA Program, Derek interned with Nationwide Bank as part of the FLRP.

Prior to Fisher, Derek spent three years serving as Vice President of Development for Kauai Development, LLC, a resort development company.   Before joining Kauai Development, Derek spent one year working on a condo hotel conversion project located in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Derek moved to Hawaii after a career in investment banking at a boutique firm.  Derek attended Southern Methodist University where he graduated with a BBA in Finance.  He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and is a licensed Hawaii real estate broker.
