Mr. Hartsook has been involved in commercial investment real estate in Central Ohio since 1972. As a member of the six-member CB Richard Ellis Columbus Private Client Group (PCG), he offers extensive experience with industrial, office, retail, land, and investment properties as well as a wide variety of development opportunities.

The Private Client Group (PCG) represents buyers in their search and analysis, sellers in their disposition or repositioning of real estate assets, and investors in their search for 1031 exchanges, portfolio investments and fund investments. The PCG national platform proves to be a powerful tool that property owners and buyers are requesting. PCG utilizes a nationally populated, proprietary, web-based investor database that profiles an ever changing and growing set of investors, numbering more than 150,000.

Throughout his career, David has facilitated over 275 real estate transactions totaling over $340 million in consideration. During the 1980’s, David was responsible for a yearly $40 million development budget in the Central Ohio office of Linclay Corporation, creating institutional quality properties. Over the past 18 years, in addition to selling private client investment properties, he has served as an outsourced real estate department for Stanley Steemer, Adia Personnel and Symix Computer Software in 50 markets across the country.

David's developmental experience includes a wide variety of development, redevelopment, land acquisition, financing, construction, and multi-location company projects throughout the entire country. Acting as Vice President of the Columbus Division of the Linclay Corporation, a regional developer, his was the most consistently profitable division in the 5-division company. His strong leadership skills in managing a team of 65 professionals led to the development and creation of over $225 million worth of commercial properties totaling nearly 2.4 million square feet of commercial real estate property. His efforts directly resulted in Linclay-Columbus becoming highly recognized as a strong, reliable developer and competitor of institutional investment grade properties throughout the entire Midwest region.

Other significant projects that David has been involved with include the building of a stand-alone facility in North Las Vegas for Stanley Steemer International, the redevelopment of a Columbus urban shopping center, as well as the creation of a site location and incentive package for the Cheryl’s Cookies headquarters in Westerville, Ohio.
