Michael L. Glass attended the University of Arizona in Tucson receiving a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
After college he accepted a position at LaSalle Bank / ABNAMRO in Chicago as a credit analyst and commercial loan officer with an emphasis on real estate lending.
Michael joined Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services of Chicago in November 2001 under the Sales Intern Program and worked on over 45 deals in excess of $135 million as an intern. He became an agent in April 2004 and reached Associate status in January 2005, closing 16 transactions in his first 24 months as an agent.
In July 2006, Michael joined the management team as Sales Manager of the Chicago office, working with and managing over 40 agents.
In April 2007, Michael was promoted to Regional Manger of the Cleveland office. His primary responsibilities include hiring, training and deploying agents throughout the marketplace as well as coaching agents and managing the offices revenue and expenses. When he took over responsibility of the office, there were 6 Investment Associates covering the market. Currently, there are 22 agents in the Cleveland office specializing in all of the major product types and covering the entire Cleveland market as well as surrounding markets. The Cleveland office of Marcus & Millichap has grown into the largest sales office in the Cleveland market under Michael’s supervision.
In April 2009, Michael took over the responsibility of the Columbus office as well as maintaining his role as the Cleveland Regional Manager. Currently there are 9 Investment Associates in Columbus and Michael sees that number increasing to approximately 15 in the coming year.
